How to make Fried Mochi French Toast
I don't have too much to say about this video except sweet jesus I want some. Hong Kong cafe food might be one of the top IFKYK cuisines within the Asian playbook, but I can safely say it is one of those things that cannot be hated. Born out of the large British presence in Hong Kong, dishes like macaroni soup with spam sit on the same menu as beef chow fun, which may honestly make it the cuisine that represents this podcast better than any other. The assumption you speak cantonese from the moment you step in, minimal decor and the best club sandwich known to man make this an institution that I hope never disappears. My go to is the seafood baked rice (mixed seafood in a bechamel over egg fried rice that gets baked hahaha).
